Theory of Triadic Harmony: Balance and Energy
The triadic scheme is based on an equilateral triangle on the color wheel, where each color is 120 degrees from the others. A classic example is primary colors (red, yellow, blue), which form a perfect triangle. Secondary colors (orange, green, purple) also form a triadic scheme.
Triadic harmony provides high contrast thanks to even color distribution but maintains balance thanks to equal distances between them. This creates visually interesting but not overloaded compositions.
The цветовая гармония tool automatically calculates triadic colors for any selected color, using mathematical color wheel principles.
